Q. Is getting to your pontoon location easy?
A. Yes, we are located in Cornelius, North Carolina
Locations PICKUPS will be at Ramsey Creek Park.
Q. Do you take everyone that book online?
A. NO, all online bookings are reviewed for approval. Helmsman must not only have boating experience but must be at least
22 years of age. Also, it is the law if born after 1988, they must have a boating safety certification.
Q. Do I need a credit card to book a reservation, and is a Security Deposit required?
A. No credit card is needed to book online, and NO Security Deposit is required.
We do however save your payment information on file in case a claim is made.
Q. Are your pontoons updated?
A. Yes, we have 3 new 9 passenger 18' Sun Tracker DLX Party Barges
Q. Are your prices competitive?
A. Yes of course, In fact we have ONE price per rental, no hidden fees.
We include amenities like GAS, A COOLER OF ICE, BOTTLED WATER, SNACKS, WATER NOODLES, FISHING POLES AND TACKLE
Q. Are you open 7 days a week?
A. We are open 7 days a week 365 days a year
Q. Is your pontoon easy to drive?
A. Yes, very as easy to drive like a car, but must have some boating experience.
Q. How old do you have to be to rent our boats?
A. You have to be 22 years old and have a valid automobile drivers license to rent and drive our boats.
Q. Does the pontoon go fast? the boats go fast?
A. Our 60 and 75 HP Sun Tracker goes approximately 18 - 26 MPR and is designed to cruise Lake Norman.
It's a fun cruise party barge with safety in mind.
Q. How many people fit on the pontoon?
A. 9 people is the max and can be very comfortable on the 18′ Sun Tracker - Weight limit is 1,250 LBS
Q. Do you provide life jackets ?
A. Yes, we always have 9 life jackets onboard at all times and special vests for minors. We have vests for infants, children and youths.
All vests are stowed under the seats for your convenience.
Q. Do you offer any watersports?
A. Yes, for a nominal fee, we offer water noodles.
We also offer 58” 2 person towable tubes as well as fishing poles and tackle for your convenience.
Q. Is there music on the boat?
A. Yes, we have an excellent simple to use radio and bluetooth system.
Q. Where do we park?
A. You can park @ Ramsey Creek Park and walk to the dock area to be picked up and greeted by a company representative
Q. What time should I show up to my reservation?
A. We recommend getting here 10 - 15 minutes before to get checked in and find parking.
Q. What can I bring with me?
A. You are welcome to bring any food or beverage. You are welcome to bring your own cooler and beverages.
Q. Are pets allowed?
A. We know they are like family, but please no pets allowed, unless you have permission from owner.
Q. Can we fish from the boat?
A. Yes, Lake Norman has great fishing, with plenty of species such as: Blue Catfish , Bluegill , Channel Catfish,
Crappie, Black Bullhead, Flathead Catfish, Largemouth Bass, Sauger, Smallmouth Bass, Spotted Bass, Striped Bass
NOTE: If selected when making your reservation, we offer FREE fishing poles and tackle. As stated in the rental agreement, RENTER is responsible for any sporting activities on or off pontoon. It is clear and understood that fishing may increase the risk of rips, stains and any other boat damage or personal injury from any water sport or fishing activity.
Q. Can we jump, dive, swim or get into the water?
A. Yes, Lake Norman is a beautiful lake and does offer swimming and many other water activities.
We are not responsible for any persons in the water, and the pontoon engine MUST be off when people
are swimming nearby. We do recommend jumping into the lake from the floor of the pontoon.
Please no jumping off the seats, as it may be slippery and dangerous.
Q. Are there bathrooms on the boats?
A. There are no bathrooms on board; we encourage everyone to go before getting on board at Ramsey Creek Park.
Q. What is the cancellation policy?
A. One person's perfect day on the water may be too hot for somebody else and too cold for the next person. As a rental company, last minute
cancellations are very costly. At the same time, we understand that things come up and we don’t feel it is right for you to lose your entire
rental fee if you have to reschedule.
1 - If the client cancels the booking within 3 calendar days of the trip date, owner agrees to a refund of
100% of the total booking price, and security deposit.
2 - If the Client cancels the booking within 2 calendar days of the trip date, owner agrees to a refund of 50% of the
total booking price, and will receive 100% of their security deposit.
3 - If the Client cancels the booking same day of the trip date, there will be no refund of the total booking price,
Our Cancellation policy is simple and strict, but fair.
We do not allow cancellations for less than ideal weather. If the weather is bad due to high winds, lightning, rain, storms in the area, unsafe conditions we will call you to cancel and move your reservation. Cancellations made by our staff due to weather will receive a full refund.
We reserve the right to cancel any rental at any time due to extreme conditions deemed unsafe.
Late Return Fees:
There will be a "Late Return Fee" of $25.00 per 15 minutes AFTER the 1st 5 minutes of the agreed reserved return timeslot.
